Magical Estonian fought in vain in huge upset
Robin 'ropz' Kool played brilliantly, but could not prevent a defeat to the underdogs from ENCE.
Group B at ESL Pro League Season 13 opened with a huge upset. ENCE won against mousesports after a huge brawl on the third map, Inferno.
On Train, ropz was almost a one-man army for mousesports, who struggled against the new international roster from ENCE, who picked Train as their map. ENCE won the first half narrowly with 8-7, while they turned op the heat in the second half to secure the first map.
On Vertigo it was quickly evident, that ENCE had no answers to resolve the pressure, that mousesports put them under time and time again. ropz was once again dominating and helped his team to an easy 16-5 win.
Inferno was the setting for the decider. Here the underdogs from ENCE again showed, that they can cause a lot of problems for the other teams in group B. Lotan 'Spinx' Giladi stepped up for ENCE during the first half, which ended 9-6 in favor of ENCE.
The Finnish Organization got off to a great start to the second half. All of a sudden the lead was extended to 12-6, leaving mousesports in dire straits. But then ropz and frozen turned up in style. The two of them totaled 51 kills during Inferno and equalized the score at 13-13.
In the end, ENCE won some important clutches to claim the victory, with Paweł "dycha" Dycha making the final one to seal the deal 16-14.
mousesports now face a difficult path to advance at ESL Pro League, while ENCE will look to surprise even more teams in group B.
