Last night was special: UK Counter-Strike is back!
Team Endpoint delivered some much-needed success for the CS:GO scene in UK last night.
They started the day by beating Sprout in a four map thriller at the Grand Final at Mountain Dew League Season 35 and ended by giving one of the best teams in the world a very hard time. The 26th of November was indeed a special day for Team Endpoint.
And to say it was against all odds would be an understatement. Endpoint started their run at MDL Season 35 by losing their first six matches. But then the British/European team started to pull back. They went from 0-6 to 10-7 and qualified for the playoffs. Here the team went all the way through the upper bracket to win the Grand Final against Sprout.
A victory that gave the British team a ticket to next year's ESL Pro League.
Max "MiGHTYMAX" Heath had every reason to be happy. Since 2016 he has represented Endpoint, who most likely will rise to their highest ever ranking on Monday on HLTV's World ranking. They are currently ranked #33.
But the day was not done for Endpoint. At BLAST they had to face Heroic. The #2 in the world was huge favorites to sweep the Englishmen 2-0, but again Endpoint showed, that they have something special going on. And even though they lost 2-1 after a hard-fought fight on Inferno, they still had a lot to be happy about.
A day to remember for Endpoint, who also got respect from their peers.
