Highlight: nafany hits clean 3K spraydown
The IGL of Gambit is not just all brains - he is also one of the deadliest riflers
When it comes to In-game leading, there are many different perceptions of the role. Some people think that all you need to contribute with is your brains and strategical smarts. Whilst that may have been true in the earlier stages of CS:GO with the likes of "karrigan" being regarded as the best IGL, the game is, as always, evolving.
An IGL is no longer just a strategical asset to his team, but preferably also a dangerous player when it comes to individual ability and mechanical skill. A player that fits that description to the tee is "nafany". Having played an instrumental role in Gambit's success he is, without doubt, one of the current best IGL within the professional CS:GO scene.
Once again he proved his individual capabilities when facing Entropiq. Posted up outside of the B bombsite, "nafany" was rushed down by all three opposing players. Whilst it is almost impossible to survive such a push, the Russian IGL managed to do exactly that. Taking down all three opponents in one single spraydown he finished the round in an impressive fashion - take a look:
