Heroic qualifies for huge Danish clash at BLAST
It could not have been written better! Heroic will face Astralis for a spot at the Royal Arena in Denmark.
Two of the most fierce rivals in recent times in CS:GO will go head to head for the opportunity to represent their country on their home turf in Copenhagen. That sounds like a banger, right?
Heroic made the clash possible with a Semi-Final win against Sangal, who could not deliver another upset at the tournament.
Earlier on Sangal had eliminated BIG from BLAST Premier Fall Showdown, but against Heroic the mixed European roster lost momentum after getting a superb start to both of the maps. On Vertigo a 6-0 lead was squandered to allow Heroic to win the first half and later the map.
Sangal also came out strong on Inferno leading both 4-0 and 8-4 during the first half. But again Heroic slowly but surely caught up and eventually created a comfortable gap between their opponents. A well-playing René "TeSeS" Madsen came alive in the second half and gave his team the upper hand in several rounds. It ended with a Danish triumph and now we can look forward to an all-Danish Grand Final tomorrow when Heroic face Astralis.
