Heroic battle out Endpoint at BLAST
In a close fought game, the Danish team is ready for the next stage at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.
It all looked comfortable at the beginning for Heroic. On Train, they went up 7-1 without breaking a sweat. Niko even found a nasty knife kill to make the ultimate statement.
But Endpoint, who hours earlier had played a Grand Final in the MDL against Sprout, was determined to show, that they are not a team to toy around with.
With an incredible seven clutches during Train, the English team managed to make a comeback to take the victory 16-11.
On Overpass the Danish team was back to their normal self. At the same time, the many incredible rescues from Endpoint were missing. A cocktail that gave Heroic a relatively easy 16-8 win.
Inferno was left as the deciding map. A map that the Englishmen had played 21 competitive games during the last three months.
The teams did everything they could to prolong the excitement during the match. Both with the knowledge, that the loser would be out. Until 11-11, it was all even.
But from here on, the Danes took control. stavn was excellent at controlling the B-bombsite, and Endpoint continuously ran into trouble on the other side as well. It ended 16-12 to Heroic.
Tomorrow Heroic will face mousesports in the Quarter-Finals at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.
Heroic - Endpoint 2-1 (11-16, 16-8, 16-12).
