Gambit reintroduce Head Coach after nine-month ban
"F_1N" is set to become Gambit's Head Coach once again after returning from his ban
It has been announced that Gambit will seek to reinstate their former Head Coach Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov as the team's Head Coach. "F_1N" forcefully left his position as the Head Coach for the successful Gambit organization after he received a nine-month ban due to the controversies regarding the infamous "spectator bug". Alongside the Russian Head Coach from Gambit 36 other coaches were banned back in September 2020 due to the same misuse of information in-game.
After receiving the nine-month ban "F_1N" moved to an analyst position where he could still help the team, all be it not in the role as the roster's Head Coach. With the ban having been lifted he still remains unable to participate at Valve-sanctioned events, including the final CIS RMR event set to take place later this year, however, Gambit has announced that Konstantin "groove" Pikiner will, once again, fill in as the Head Coach at these events.
The next scheduled match for Gambit, now lead by Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov, is set to take place on Wednesday 1 September against TeamOne at the ESL Pro League event.
