Gambit qualifies for DreamHack Open November 2020
The Russian team has secured a spot at the $100,000 event after a 2-1 victory against Espada.
Gambit managed to come out on top of the qualifier after cruising through the single-elimination bracket without losing a single map before the grand final, where they overcame a defeat on the first map Mirage (14-16) as they won on Train (16-9) and Overpass (16-6) to close out the series.
Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov who was the top player of the game and the rest of the team will play in DreamHack Open November at the end of the month, where they will be joining seven other teams.
So far only four teams have been confirmed at the event and two more teams will be determined via the Danish Elgiganten Ligaen and the ESL Polish Championship, while two more will receive invites.
