Gambit captain: I think we’re the hardest working team
Vladislav “nafany” Gorshkov talks about how his team balance practice and still manage to improve despite having a tight schedule.
The 19-year-old captain of Gambit spoke with HLTV.org in an interview where he was asked about how him and his team manage to keep improve and balance practice at the same time, while playing in so many tournaments.
“I think we’re the hardest-working team in the scene, we work a lot, and practically no other team spends as much time as we do bootcamping. Our schedule is really tight, and we really work hard. We didn’t have issues with clashes between training and officials. For example, after we have an official match we follow up with training on the next day, we haven’t had breaks. In the beginning, we had a single day off at most, and that was fine for us, and it remains the case because we want to anchor ourselves in the top tier of teams.”
Expectations are through the roof for the young squad who managed to climb to the top of world rankings after claiming the IEM Katowice, their first big event, and finish in second place in ESL Pro League Season 13. Today, Gambit have the opportunity to book themselves a spot in the semi-finals at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown if they manage to beat FURIA. The match will kick-off at 18:30 (CET).
