Gambit beat Astralis to book EPL semi-final spot
The Russians are through to the semi-finals at ESL Pro League following a 2-0 victory over the mighty Danes from Astralis.
Astralis have been sent to the quarter-finals after Gambit took them down 2-0, while the Russians have managed to book themselves a spot in the semi-finals at ESL Pro League S13 with the victory over the Danes. Gambit’s Ax1Le was on fire throughout the whole series and delivered an incredible performance to help his team advance further in the tournament.

The action started on Gambit’s pick of Overpass where the Russians bounced back strong after losing the opening round. Astralis had a hard time trying to find their footing with device being 0-8 right as sh1ro and company stormed to an 8-1 lead. The Danes managed to grab three rounds right before halftime in hopes that they could turn the tables after the break. Astralis managed to climb up to seven rounds on the scoreboard before Ax1Le and Gambit closed out the map. Ax1Le had an incredible performance and finished off the map with a rating of 2.27 and 153.0 ADR.
On Inferno, both teams put together a great fight but it was the Russians who came out on top once again. The Danes fell to a very well playing Gambit who managed to keep their composure until the end and close out the map 16-12, with Ax1Le dropping 28 frags to take his team across the finish line.
