ENCE eliminated from DreamHack Open November after a bad performance
The first map was the pick of forZe and saw the Bo3-series start on Ancient. Despite being the pick of forZe, it was ENCE to start strongest on the map. With confident CT-sided play, Lotan 'Spinx' Giladi and Marco 'Snappi' Pfeiffer came clutch for ENCE and secured a 13-2 lead in the first half. In the second half, ENCE kept their momentum where Dycha got an ace in the pistol with the dualies. Even though forZe came out looking strong on the defense by stringing together five rounds in a row, it was not enough to threaten ENCE, who won the match with a 16-7.
The second map of the series was to be played on Nuke, picked by ENCE. Early in the first half, the Russians found their right footing, gaining a 2-6 lead on their CT side. forZe began to pull away, their defense slowly choking out ENCE keeping the Europeans on their toes, and continued to an 11-4 half. forZe opened the second half with a pistol win and follow-up round, no threatening by ENCE to make a comeback. ENCE began to add numbers to their tally and seemed to find their momentum. But forZe closed out the map before everything got too thrilling.
After their comeback on Nuke, forZe came into Mirage with momentum. The Russian squad converted a second-round force buy which kickstarted a dominant seven-round winning streak to secure a T half victory. ENCE's timeout seemed to turn things around for the Europeans as they brought five rounds to minimize the gap to 10-5 at halftime. Switching to the CT side sealed the deal for forZe, winning the pistol round before extending the lead and eliminating ENCE, 16-10 for a 2-1 series.
