flamie on NAVI form: We did not have the best results that we could get
The NAVI player gives his say on the current shape of the big CIS team.
Egor “flamie” Vasilyev was a happy man after NAVI’s 2-1 victory yesterday against MAD Lions. In a post-game interview, he talked with the analyst desk giving his insight on the NAVI team. In a question from the analysts regarding NAVI and their rather unsteady form in Blast Premier and IEM New York, the Russian player assured them that he and the team are on the rise again.
“We did not have the best results that we could get. But now I think the mood is good, and we had a good team talk after the tournament. We finally started to practice, which we couldn’t do before when Perfecto was ill and then straight into the tournament. Now we have at least practiced 3 days, and I hope that we will show a great result here”
flamie explains that going into the match NAVI acknowledged MAD Lions and the good results that they have shown lately, also praising the Danish roster.
”We knew it could be a close game, because they are a great team with some new players, looking fresh. I think they have prepared themselves really good for Nuke with a very good game plan on T-side”
