Finally! mousesports wins first match at ESL Pro League in last attempt
G2 lost their chance of taking first place in group B after a disappointing loss today.
mousesports was before the match against G2 0-4 in the tournament. A horrible start to the new roster. Especially the new in-game leader Christopher "dexter" Nong has had some rough matches so far. On the first map Vertigo, he was on fire though. The Australian produced his best map in his time on mouz with an impressive rating of 1.78 and six entry kills giving his team a perfect start to the match with a 16-6 win.
Mirage is usually a strong map for G2, while mousesports has only registered one victory in their last five tries. But today nothing really worked for G2, who never really got their economy working. Only NiKo had any luck of doing some real damage for G2 with 5:1 in opening duels. For mousesports, it was good to see their new AWP'er Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand in perfect shape on Mirage with 30 kills making a good impact for his new team.
mousesports won 16-12 and secured their first victory at ESL Pro League. Oddly enough it was in a match, where their starplayer Robin 'ropz' Kool was not the key player. G2 still makes it through to the playoffs but will have to settle with a third place in the group.
