Finalists' path to the final
One Match left!
Both teams joined the Legends Stage tournament, where the teams moved on from the group stage without losing a single match, going 3-0. NaVi beat two of the quarterfinalists without any problems. First, Heroic was defeated, then Virtus.pro, and subsequently, NIP was defeated dominantly.
G2 was defeating Copenhagen Flames, FaZe and Entropiq. In the playoffs, both teams played their way forward confidently, after convincing victories. G2 and Heroic opened yesterday's semi-finals, where it was a real nail-biter Bo3-series, and it all got settled in overtime at map 3. Niko's troops eventually ran away with the victory. It was a different story in the late battle between NaVi and Gambit, as s1mple and company destroyed their rivals from Gambit quickly 2-0.
It's the first Major final between NaVi and G2, where Navi has to take the favorite dignity, but with NiKo on the team of G2, they can make the surprise in the Grand Final.
