FaZe book ticket to Lanxess after win over Spirit
The world's #1 secure a playoffs spot in the season finale!
FaZe secured a spot in the playoffs at IEM Cologne after a 2-0 victory over Spirit in the Group B upper bracket semi-final.
Spirit got off to a great 5-1 T-side start on the first map of Ancient as 'Patsi' grabbed 11 kills before going down. From there on out the rest of the map belonged to FaZe. Although he has four stars on his team, this time it was IGL 'karrigan' that led the team on the scoreboard, and he did so with style. The veteran Dane led the FaZe squad to a 16-10 victory.
'magixx' had a rough go of it in the first half of Nuke, but luckily all of his teammates were running hot. The CIS squad took ten solid rounds on the defense but were unfortunately not able to convert them into a map victory, as FaZe put up a brick wall on their defense. 'karrigan' and co. closed the series at 16-13.
