EZ4ENCE!
Snappi and company from ENCE secured their spot in the quarter-finals at ESL Pro League Season 14 after taking down forZe 2-0. The ENCE squad will now start to prepare for the quarter-final matchup against a very tough opponent in NAVI, while the Russian-side from forZe are out of the tournament. ENCE and NAVI will face off on Friday at 16:00 (CET).
ENCE got off to a good start in the series taking a dominant 8-1 lead on the attacking side of Nuke, with the whole team firing on all cylinders. The Russian-side who struggled to stabilize their defense were simply outplayed by ENCE who put in a masterclass of an attacking performance, but they still managed grab four rounds right before halftime. In the second half, ENCE took the CT pistol and sat up a water-tight defense which forZe couldn’t break through. That resulted in Snappi and company stringing together six rounds in a row to close out the map 16-5 in dominant fashion.
The first half of Mirage was just more of the same from ENCE, who turned the map on its head after losing the first two rounds. From there on, ENCE found their footing and went on to completely shut down forZe’s offense, only letting go of four rounds in a total. forZe tried their best and closed the gap to three, but that was all they could do as ENCE put an end to the map right after without too much late game drama. ENCE broke forZe’s 17-game winning streak on Mirage to wrap up the series 2-0.
