That was the second NAVI player to be denoted a neutral flag in Counter-Strike.
Denis “electronic” Sharipov has followed the footsteps of his NAVI teammate and Russian countryman Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy and decided not to play under the Russian flag going forward.
So when you’re visiting NAVI’s Liqiupedia page in the future you’ll be met with a neutral banner standing next to both Perfecto and electronic’s names. Something both players have formally requested to Liquipedia.
The decision not to represent the Russian flag comes after Russia's invasion of Ukraine earlier this year, which has had huge consequences in the Eastern European country. The war has also taken its toll on the otherwise super-successful NAVI squad which hasn't been near as powerful this year as in 2022.
