Dignitas star after Liquid victory: We are performing better against stronger teams
Are the legendary Swedes about to develop into a consistent tier-1 team?
In January last year, Dignitas made their comeback on the CS:GO scene with the acquisition of the legendary duo of Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg and Adam “friberg” Friberg. Even though the new roster had multiple Major winners they struggled for a long time, where the Scandinavian team didn’t manage to break into the tier-1 scene.
However, it seems like Dignitas has developed to the better here in 2021, helped along with the signing of the former NIP player Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson last month. The 27-year old rifler has averaged a stellar 1.14 Rating / 81.5 ADR / 1.12 K-D Ratio, which has led to strong showings at Funspark ULTI, Snow Sweet Snow 3, and yesterday against Liquid.
After the upset victory against Liquid at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown, Lekr0 spoke with the desk where he explains that they perform better when they are matched with stronger teams. Something they surely proved against the North American superstars.
