The team, which is sponsored by the online gaming platform BC.Game, has attracted considerable attention with the return of legendary AWPer Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács as their coach.

GuardiaN, widely recognized as one of the best Counter-Strike players of all time, brings his vast experience to the team. He previously played for top teams like FaZe Clan and Natus Vincere, and his leadership is expected to be a crucial asset for the new roster.

The lineup has been rounded out with notable players such as Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson, known for his strategic gameplay and experience with teams like NIP and fnatic, and Luca “pr1metapz” Voigt, who is emerging from BIG Academy. Additionally, Guy “anarkez” Trachtman, Aleksandar “CacaNito” Kjulukoski, and the recently added Kacper "KwertzZ" Weitz have joined the roster, each bringing unique strengths to the team.

However, the team faced an early setback when Joel "joel" Holmlund was removed from the roster following a ban by Akros Anti-Cheat during an ongoing investigation. Despite this, BC.Game remains focused on establishing themselves as a competitive force in the CS2 scene.

BC.Game’s strategic recruitment reflects their ambition to compete at the highest level in upcoming tournaments, and the esports community is watching closely to see how this new team will perform under GuardiaN’s guidance.

The BC.Game lineup narrowly lost out on qualification for the European RMR tournament for the upcoming Major in Shanghai. A 19-16 win against ECLOT was followed by two close defeats to Sangal and GamerLegion before losing their third match in a row to be eliminated from the qualifier by TSM.

In the CCT Season 2 Europe Series 7 tournament, BC.Game had made their way into the playoffs, but had to withdraw from their match against B8 due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding Joel "joel" Holmlund.

BC.Game is currently competing in the ESEA Season 50: Advanced Division – Europe tournament, where the team is on route to qualify for the playoffs with an 8-3 score so far.

At first sight, it may come as a surprise that the list only features players from Brazil (FalleN, fer) and Scandinavian countries such as Norway (rain, jkaem), Sweden (f0rest, KRIMZ, Lekr0), and Denmark (roeJ, dupreeh, birdfromsky).

However, these two region/countries are also some of the cornerstones of Counter-Strike having both played a huge role throughout the entire history of the game - also before the birth of CS:GO, with many of the above-mentioned players being former Counter-Strike 1.6 superstars.

Dignitas have decided to make all of their players available for transfer effective immediately. The organization states that the results have not been what they expected from the squad and that missing the Major was the last nail in the coffin.

The team are not dismissing the thought of keeping some of the players.

Team Vitality continued to confirm their status as the main favorites in Group C, which they once again underlined with a win over OG 16-9.

Vitality got off to a great start on Mirage, converting a force buy on the second round before cementing their superiority on the T side with a 1-7 lead. OG was left looking stranded on their CT-side with little to do against the pressure of a Vitality T-side. A dominating first-half performance meant a crucial 11-4 lead for the French going into the second half. The European side showed signs of life at the offense but overall could not get into a rhythm. OG never managed to make Vitality work for it in the second half and could not conjure up a comeback, eventually falling 16-9.

Dignitas is currently home to some of the greatest Counter-Strike legends of all time. The likes of "f0rest" and "friberg" have proven that they still have what it takes to compete at a high level and are currently ranked as the 23rd best team in the world. The Norwegian player Haris "H4RR3" Hadzic had the opportunity to play alongside these incredible players, however, not for long.

After being replaced by "Lekr0" in the early stages of 2021 "H4RR3" went on to join a team called 777. Whilst his new team is far more unknown than Dignitas he seems to have found the right place to improve. In their latest game against DBL PONEY, he pulled off an incredible 1v5 ace clutch. The Swedish team from Dignitas is after a tough 2020 season beginning to show their true colours, as they now look like an established Top 30 team. The renowned organization seem to have found the right mix, concerning the roster and the roles within the team.

A huge reason for the reformation must be the signing of the profiled rifler Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson, but also the revelation of the young and talented Ludvig "HEAP" Alonso. The 21-year old Swede has alongside Lekr0 played some thrilling Counter-Strike lately, which most recently resulted in an upset victory against the North American super team in Liquid.

HEAP has throughout the last month averaged a strong 1.10 Rating / 76.3 ADR / 68.3% Headshot Percentage. Something, he believes owes to the fact that he feels more confident and comfortable on the roster. In an interview with Dignitas, the promising rifler reflects on his first 6-month on the team, and how he has developed so far.

- I am way more confident in my own plays, I can now do plays I want to do myself. Before I was way more passive and just adapting to everyone else. Nowadays, I feel way more confident in doing my own thing, I ask to do plays that allow me to progress in the round. Overall, I'm feeling way better!

I think I'm finally able to show everyone my true "me" as a player compared to earlier when I joined the team. We're practising every day against the best players in the world, meaning that I literally have to grow as a player to be able to keep up with the level of CS practised.

Team remaining teams at the event are OG, G2, Dignitas, Spirit, Gambit, FURIA, Heroic, and 9z. There have been some surprising results, with the sensation from 9z beating, they will have to create an even bigger sensation on Saturday as they take on the newly crowned winners of the ESL Pro League, Heroic.

Another surprising result was that Astralis got beaten 2-0 by OG, also a result that there weren’t many who had seen coming.

In January last year, Dignitas made their comeback on the CS:GO scene with the acquisition of the legendary duo of Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg and Adam “friberg” Friberg. Even though the new roster had multiple Major winners they struggled for a long time, where the Scandinavian team didn’t manage to break into the tier-1 scene.

However, it seems like Dignitas has developed to the better here in 2021, helped along with the signing of the former NIP player Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson last month. The 27-year old rifler has averaged a stellar 1.14 Rating / 81.5 ADR / 1.12 K-D Ratio, which has led to strong showings at Funspark ULTI, Snow Sweet Snow 3, and yesterday against Liquid.

After the upset victory against Liquid at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown, Lekr0 spoke with the desk where he explains that they perform better when they are matched with stronger teams. Something they surely proved against the North American superstars.

Nuke was the first map chosen by Dignitas, which was a wise decision from the Swedish organization as they demolished Team Liquid on Nuke. All the Dignitas roster was playing at a top-level, and they cemented their domination as they kept all the Liquid players from having a K/d over 1.00.

Especially HEAP and Lekr0 were playing on the top of their game at Nuke, when Ludvig “HEAP” Alonso had a rating at 1,63, and Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson with a rating of 1.53, when Dignitas won 16-5 on Nuke.

In the second map at Vertigo it was closer, but yet again with HEAP and Lekr0 as the top players on the map, the Swedish superstar was the best player today when Dignitas moved on to the Quarter-finals of the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2021.

Today's Pley of the Day is from the profiled Swede Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson!

Lekr0 delivered earlier today a true hero play at Snow Sweet Snow 3, when he and Dignitas took upon Wisla Krakow in the opening round. The former NIP and fnatic player were placed in a tough 1v4 situation in the second pistol round, however, the profiled Swede still managed to turn things around and secure the round for his team.

The profiled roster hasn’t lived up to their previous heights and peaks throughout the last year, with one disappointing result after another. However, with the acquisition of Lekr0, it seems that Dignitas is on the right way to improving and developing as a team.

Yesterday, Dignitas managed to qualify for the prominent BLAST Premier Spring Showdown, by beating every opponent at Nordic Masters Spring. The tournament worked as a qualifier for the strong $160.000 event, where the Swedes will battle some of the world best teams in Astralis, Gambit, Liquid, and many more.

Dignitas has signed Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson on a permanent transfer, the American organization confirmed this evening. The 27-year old rifler will join a complete Scandinavian roster, where he will reunite with his former teammate Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg from NiP.

Lekr0 will take over from the Norwegian Haris "⁠H4RR3⁠" Hadzic, who Dignitas has decided to remove from their active roster, following the signing of the former NiP and North player.
