device overtakes REZ as best NiP player
Mr. Consistent has already proven himself at Ninjas in Pyjamas
The transfer of Nicolai "device" Reedtz from Astralis to NiP came as a shock to the entire CS:GO community. Many believe that the transfer is not only the most shocking in Counter-Strike history but also the biggest. Regarded by many as the most consistent player in the world, as well as one the greatest AWP'ers of all time, everybody had their eyes peeled for the Danes opening games at NiP and despite the high praise, he didn't disappoint.
His first couple of games were solid performances from the 25-year-old, but what is scary is that he is, seemingly, only becoming better as he gets more and more familiar with his new environments. In NiP's latest series they took on the giants of G2. They managed to take down the side of G2, securing themselves a spot in the Grand Final of Flashpoint 3. On top of the leaderboard was, of course, no other than "device", managing an impressive overall rating of 1.31.
The recent performance from "device" means that he has now overtaken his teammate Frederik "REZ" Sterner as the highest-rated NiP player at the event of Flashpoint 3. Throughout the event, he has gathered himself a rating of 1.14, whereas "REZ" is sitting on a 1.13 rating. Whilst the rating of 1.14 isn't anything record-breaking it speaks volume of his ability to remain consistent, even in a new and unfamiliar environment.
