Danish IGL lashes out on North: “One of the worst teams I have played in”
Heroic IGL, cadiaN breaks down the reasons for why his stay in North wasn’t as successful as he hoped.
Casper “cadiaN” Møller joined the big Danish team North in September 2018. The team held a strong and promising lineup in aizy, valde, gade, kjaerbye and cadiaN, but the team couldn’t match the expectation and were slowly ruined from the inside.
Heroic IGL cadiaN, gives his view on his personal experience on North and the downfall of the team in an interview with HLTV Confirmed. cadiaN explains how he from the very beginning could tell that this was going to end well, and how he after just three months in North considered looking for a new team.
”To be honest I think it’s one of the worst teams I have ever played in, straight up. Instantly, I just really didn’t feel like that this was the spot for me. Things just weren’t comfortable for me”

cadianN believes that the North team possessed an unhealthy team culture where teammates weren’t ready to go the extra mile for each other. cadiaN explains how this destroys the team synergy and makes it nearly impossible to compete, and something he thinks was one of the biggest hindrances at North.
“There was no one who was willing to give the extra five or ten percent for the team whether that was sacrificing with jumping around the corner, playing extra deathmatch, finding a new tactic, bringing up the mood when everything was looking dark”
The Danish IGL says that valde was one of the important reasons why this team didn’t work. He explains that valde was very unhappy in the team and wanted to move away and find a new team and how this just helped to destroy the North team and its motivation.
“valde, to be honest, was killing the mood quite heavily. He didn’t really put a lot of effort to be a good team player or a good teammate. He has a great mind for the game and as a human as well but he was not into the project and that made us suffer a lot.
