Copenhagen Flames takes out NIP to qualify for main event at IEM Katowice
Ninja in Pyjamas got humiliated by their Danish counterparts.
Copenhagen Flames is ready for the main event at IEM Katowice. The Danish team won both their matches today to qualify as the first team from the Play-in.
In their second match of the day, Flames simply broke Ninjas in Pyjamas on Nuke 16-3.
It was in-game leader Rasmus 'HooXi' Nielsen, who delivered outstandingly well on Nuke to shut down the Swedish Ninjas. On Mirage Copenhagen Flames continued to press the speeder and defended themselves with ease against NIP, who were trailing 2-13 after the first half.
In the second half it began to look like a comeback from NIP, but in the end the deficit from the first half was to big. NIP will now have to qualify via the lower bracket in the tournament.

In their first match of the day, BIG took on Movistar Riders. The Spaniards were called in at the last minute to replace Complexity at the tournament and began their journey at IEM Katowice by winning the first half on their CT side on Nuke. But after the break it was Johannes 'tabseN' Wodarz, who lead his team to a win with a great performance. The Germans will face Astralis in their next match, where the winner will qualify for the main event.
