Copenhagen Flames stun BIG at PGL Stockholm Major
roeJ and company continue their impressive showing, defeating the German powerhouse.
The Danish underdogs from Copenhagen Flames can’t stop upsetting the CS:GO elite. Earlier today, the red-hot Danes managed to take down their countrymen from Astralis with a massive 16-6 win. Something, they followed up with this equally impressive 16-11 triumph over the strong Germans at Berlin International Gaming (BIG).
In the Bo1 battle on Nuke, Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen and the rest of Copenhagen Flames dominated the match from the very beginning, where they succeeded to set up a stellar CT defence which got them a 12-3 score going into the switch.
It was especially roeJ and his heroics who led CPH Flames to the impressive victory, as the veteran posted an impeccable performance for the second time in a row at this Major. The loss for BIG means that they go 1-1 in the overall Swiss standing, while Flames have set themselves in the lead with their 2-0 record.
