cadiaN: G2 and FaZe are getting better, but still not better than Heroic
In a talk with Pley, the profiled captain discussed why he believes Heroic could go under the radar this year.
This offseason has been one of the wildest and busiest in the history of CS:GO, with several tier-1 teams shaking up their rosters and making huge investments in superstar players. G2, FaZe and Vitality are prime examples of that.
Blockbuster transfers of m0NESY to G2, ropz re-joining karrigan on FaZe, and the former Astralis duo dupreeh and Magisk going to Vitality, could end up being an advantage for the Danes from Heroic - if you ask cadiaN himself.
- The fun part about this year is that everyone is talking about all other teams than Heroic. I think that can be very beneficial for us, cadiaN stated at an IEM Katowice press conference and continued.
- There is yet an international team to win a Major. I think international teams still have a way to go in terms of learning a culture, accepting everyone and making it fit. You can see G2, FaZe and so on are getting better, but they are still not better than Heroic.

cadiaN and the rest of Heroic kicked off their IEM Katowice campaign yesterday when they squared off against OG in the opening round. The Group A opener ended up being a very close matchup, where it was Heroic who managed to take the series win after a strong performance on Inferno.
Heroic's next matchup will be against Vitality this Friday at 16:00 (CET).
