B1ad3 after losing to Liquid: I think we underestimated them
We spoke with the NAVI coach after their surprising loss in the opening round at BLAST World Final.
Not many would have thought that the world #1 in NAVI would fall short against the underdogs from Liquid in their opener at BLAST Premier World Final. However, that became a reality this evening case when Keith "NAF" Markovic and company steamrolled over NAVI in a confident 2-1 victory.
After the match, we got the opportunity to talk with NAVI's head coach Andrii "B1ad3" Gorodenskyi, who explained that the Russians ended up underestimating Liquid going into today's battle.
- They played really well as a team, they were really active and also took a lot of initiative. I can’t mention anything specific about what Liquid does that were special. It’s just all about decision making (…) I think we underestimated them a bit, b1ad3 said after the loss to Liquid.
