Astralis and Outsiders back to winning ways at the Major
blameF and Jame lead their teams to victory with two impressive performances.
Both Astralis and Outsiders came into today with a fresh loss in the bag from the second round on Monday. Something, they managed to adjust this Tuesday in their respective matches against MIBR and Complexity at PGL Major Antwerp.
Astralis and MIBR’s map veto placed the match on Overpass, where the Danes didn’t hesitate to show MIBR who’s in charge. Through a forceful CT side, Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and the rest of Astralis set themselves in an advantage 12-3 position.
After such a dominant performance by Astralis, a butchery looked inevitable for MIBR. Yet, the matchup nearly went all the way due to a fantastic CT round by MIBR and especially chelo, which all though wasn’t enough to avoid the 16-13 loss.
