Astralis are in the Grand Final after defeating BIG!
The Danish powerhouse took down the German squad in a 2-0 victory and completed their lower bracket route.
This match-up of the two teams has not happened very often as they haven’t played against each other since October last year and the Danes ended up getting out on top with a clean series win in the consolidation final at BLAST Premier Fall Finals. Astralis went 8-0 across a four-series run in the lower bracket and are set to face Vitality in the grand final in under 2 hours.
Nuke: 16-14
Dust2: 16-6
Nicolai “device” Reedtz finished on top of the scoreboard and played impressively against the Germans, which resulted in a rating of 1.40, 88.6 ADR, and a 44-27 score.
His teammate, Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen also played a fantastic game and shined with good CT-side performances as he finished the game with a rating of 1.39 and 1 kill over device.
The Grand Final against Vitality will begin at 20:30 (CET) and will be streamed on BLAST Premier’s Twitch channel.
