apEX picks promising teammate as the 'breakthrough player' of 2020
The French in-game leader praises young new-comer after an impressive rookie year.
Vitality captain, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire gave in late-December an interview with the French CS:GO site 1pv.fr. In the interview, apEX was asked which player he thinks have been the biggest revelation or in other words, the biggest breakthrough of 2020. The French IGL picked his own teammate Kevin “misutaaa” Rabier, who has had a solid first season at the French top team, after joining in early March 2020.
“I might not have answered this 3 months ago. But misutaaa has impressed me enormously over the past months. When you look at where we started in March and what he has become, I take my hat off for him and I hope he will continue to improve because he has enormous potential. But also, our staff, which is one of the main reasons for our performance. I couldn't ask for a better way to start my career as an in-game leader.”

misuaaa closed out the year in impeccable fashion, presenting two stellar performances at IEM Beijing and IEM Global Challenge, the last two events of 2020. The 17-year Frenchman had a striking 1.26 and 1.37 rating in the respective events, where misutaaa and co. also took the title at IEM Beijing.
