zonic criticize casters after Lucky's role switch: Couldn't be closer to bullying than this
The legendary coach was not happy with the way, that Philip "Lucky" Ewald was treated during the Vitality match.
For the first time in many years, Danny 'zonic' Sørensen could see an Astralis match in the comfort of his sofa at home. The Astralis coach has been replaced by Alexander 'ave' Holdt, and will leave Astralis when his contract expires at the end of the year.
Since zonic stepped down as a coach, there has been several changes at Astralis. Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke and Benjamin “blameF” Bremer has been brought into the team, but there have also been changes among the three remaining Astralis players. Philip "Lucky" Ewald was the designated AWP'er before, but in the matches against NIP and Team Vitality, Lucky did not register one single kill with the AWP. Instead, k0nfig and gla1ve picked up the duty as a sniper on the team.
The role switch was heavily discussed after the NIP game.
Against Team Vitality the comments and jokes about the new role for Lucky apparently went a little bit too far, according to Danny 'zonic' Sørensen.
He later clarified, that it was mainly on the Danish broadcast, that he heard the comments.
At the end Philip "Lucky" Ewald actually showed, that is also a solid rifler. You can see his ace on Inferno included in our highlight video from the two matches yesterday.
