Vitality ready for playoffs
Vitality takes the series 2-0 against Astralis and was showing a great performance.
Vitality defeated Astralis in two maps before they could secure a beath in the ESL Pro League Season 14 playoffs before their last group match, which they will play against Spirit this Friday.
The Danish squad had a great start on the first map Overpass, winning the pistol round and going up 5-0, where they were shutting down both sides on the map. But Team Vitality was just getting warmed up, and the Vitality instantly retaliated, winning the first half 9-6. Team Vitality continued their great play and was dominating the second half on the first map. Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier was playing a great match which he followed up with an ace. Vitality smashed their way to a 16-9 victory with Astralis unable to reply.
Vitality came out ready the Inferno, winning the pistol round, where ZywOo getting 4 kills. They kept going strong and increase their lead. A strong first half from Vitality and takes the lead 11-4. Astralis had to find miracles in the second half if they still should be hoping for a comeback. A much better second half for the danes, where they also got 5 rounds in a row. But Astralis never managed to make Vitality work for it in the second half and could not conjure up a comeback, eventually falling 16-9.
