Strong Russians take down TYLOO at PGL Major
Spirit secures themselves a 2-1 score after destroying TYLOO 16-3 on Overpass.
The second day of the PGL Stockholm Major has commenced with the Challenger Stages continuing its Swiss-style format. In the first match today, Spirit and TYLOO stood in front of each other, as they both posted a 1-1 record going into this round.
The difference in level and performance between TYLOO and the European side was very obvious from the very start, as Spirit quickly established momentum in the bo1 battle on Overpass. Their captain and IGL Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov managed to set up a solid CT defence, which caused a lot of problems for TYLOO.
After going up 12-3 before the switch, Spirit closed out the battle on Overpass by a swift T-side where they sustained their dominance.
