The ongoing ESIC investigation into the coach-bug abuse is rumored to be affecting three coaches at the PGL Antwerp Major.
One of them is now confirmed to be the coach of Team Spirit Sergey "hally" Shavayev.
The CEO of Team Spirit Nikita Chukalin issued a statement on Twitter, where he condemned the accusations of cheating.
According to Team Spirit, Sergey "hally" Shavayev is accused of cheating in a match between Espada and Dracarys, where his coaching camera is locked in a specific position during a round. You can see the incident here. The match is from 2019.
The CEO furthermore claims, that he or anyone else at Team Spirit has no knowledge about ESIC, does not even know, who they are, and has never seen any tournament operators using their code of conduct. A claim that was quickly rejected by Ulrich Schulze from ESL.
