Spirit announce new assistant coach
Dmitry “S0tF1k” Forostyanko returns to the staff more than a year after parting ways with the organization.
The Russian organization announced on Sunday that the 26-year-old S0tF1k is returning to the Spirit squad to assist head coach Nikolay “Certus” Poluyanov S0tF1k represented Spirit as a player between 2016-2019 and attended several international events during his days with Spirit as a player, including the Majors in 2018 and Katowice in 2019.
The 26-year-old left the team in 2019 and went on to join Espada. His time with Espada came to an end in January 2021, when the organization disbanded its CS:GO division.
“I started thinking about becoming a coach when I was replaced a year and a half ago, but it was never something serious. But when Espada broke up and some time later Spirit offered me the opportunity to become Certus’ assistant, I seriously though that it would be interesting to try something new.”
