Sh1ro and Ax1Le shine as Gambit makes comeback vs. forZe
ForZe started hot and heavy, but the Gambit players put their heads down and made a massive comeback
After losing the first round of the game, forZe went on an 8 round winning streak before Gambit were able to get their second on the board. The world's number 2 were soon silenced again and forZe took the first half with an overwhelming lead of 12-3.
ForZe kept the momentum going in the second half picking up the second pistol round of the game. Gambit struck back fast with sh1ro and Ax1Le picking up all five in a force buy. On the back of this Gambit started what looked like a very unlikely comeback. ForZe did not have many answers for the Gambit defense and were also being mowed down by sh1ro and Ax1Le at every turn. Gambit managed to take the game to overtime, with forZe failing to convert on seven match points.
Only one round of overtime was needed as Gambit kept the pressure up and forced forZe out of a map, that for a long time looked to be theirs. The match concluded at 19-16 with dominant performances from both sh1ro and Ax1Le.
