HAVU is ready for the semifinal after taking down forZe
A potential clash against Astralis could be up next for the Finnish squad.
The first semifinalist at CCT North Europe Series 2 has been found with HAVU winning their Round-of-8 matchup against forZe this Tuesday afternoon.
The victory was secured through an impressive showing on Nuke and Inferno after the Finns lost the first map on Dust2, where especially the former ENCE rifler Joonas “doto” Forss were playing some strong Counter-Strike. On the deciding map, doto posted a stellar 1.61 rating which led HAVU to a 16-11 win.
This was HAVU’s fifth victory at the $50.000 tournament following their 2-0 beating of Abdul “degster” Gasanov and the rest of OG. In the coming semifinal, HAVU is set to go up against the winner of Astralis vs Astralis.
