Day one of the PGL Major Challengers Stage is over and we have found our Player of the Day!
Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen from Copenhagen Flames is our Player of the Day!
The 27-year-old Dane played a massive role in both of their victories today over Astralis and the Germans from BIG, helping his team to go up 2-0 in the Swiss Group.
roeJ showed to be in excellent shape in the first matchup against Astralis, carrying his team to a surprise victory alongside Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi by getting the majority of the frags. The 27-year-old finished on top of the scoreboard with an impressive 1.52 Rating and 24-13 K-D. In the second matchup of the day, roeJ and CPH Flames didn’t slow down as they went on to dismantle BIG to get another victory. Here, roeJ once again stole the spotlight as he dropped 23 frags in the first half, before topping the scoreboard after the match with a 30-16 K-D and 1.81 Rating.
