OG go undefeated in Group B
No one was able to stop this new look OG!
It's the Group B Final! Four teams started the day, and now after five games, only two were left standing: OG and Astralis. The two Group B finalists also faced each other in their opening game of the day, where OG ran off with a convincing victory on Ancient. This time they had to face-up on the classic decider of Inferno, with OG starting on the CT-side while Astralis would have to penetrate the defense.
Just like on Ancient it was OG that got off to the best start after a defuse in the pistol round. The OG boys kept on adding round after round, not allowing Astralis any hope for the first seven rounds of the map. But when the Danes finally took a round win after eight rounds, they were there to stay. Ending the half with six rounds in a row, Astralis managed to make the first half as competitive as is possible, and the score at halftime was 8-7 in favor of OG.
Astralis equalized the score after winning the second-half pistol in a very rough retake, but OG answered right back with a round win of their own, which saw them take back the lead. But OG was not satisfied with just having the lead, they wanted to win. So led by "valde" they took every single round from that point, and the map ended at 16-8 in favor of OG.
OG are thereby the winners of Group B!
