OG knocks Dignitas out of Flashpoint 2
The international squad from OG won 2-0 against Dignitas and eliminates them from the $1.000.000 competition.
Nathan “NBK-“ Schmitt’s troops are through to the next stage of the tournament after a 2-0 victory against Dignitas on Nuke (16-14) and Inferno (16-5), while Dignitas finish their run at the event with a 7-8th place and $15.000.
OG showed good Counter-Strike throughout the series even though they got a slow start on the first map which was a close affair. The Danish player from the OG squad, Valdemar “Valde” Vangså finished the first map of the game with a good performance which resulted in a 1.62 rating, 98.2 ADR, and a 28-17 score, while NBK- on the second map, finished on top with a rating of 1.57, 116.3 ADR, and a 21-13 score.
The international squad will look forward to facing the loser of Virtus.pro vs. BIG in the semi-final of the lower bracket on Friday at 18:00 (CEST).
