OG is ready for IEM Katowice 2022 Group Stage after a comfortable victory over ENCE
OG secure a spot in the main event and send ENCE to Lower Bracket.
OG remains undefeated in 2022 with six won matches taking out ENCE in a two-map series on Mirage (10-16) and Ancient (9-16).
The first map in the clash between OG and ENCE started with ENCE’s map pick on Mirage. OG won the pistol round to take an early lead on the defense going up 4-0. Snappi and company began to find openings on both sites as they got to a five-round winning streak, but it wasn’t quite enough, and OG took the advantage 8-7 in the first half. In the second half, ENCE struggled to stabilize their defense, and valde’s troops snowballed to a 16-10 victory, only allowed two rounds.
Moving onto Ancient, the action started much similar to Mirage. OG took the early and got off to a strong 5-0 start but only managed two more as ENCE began to lock things down, the half ended 8-7 in ENCE’s favor. In the second half, it was plain sailing as mantuu and company converted the pistol and cruised to a 9-16 victory over ENCE.
