OG get their revenge against Gen.g
mantuu and the rest of OG cruises through to the next playoff at Flashpoint 2 with 2-0 victory.
The matchup was a replay of the opening round in Group C, where Gen.g surprisingly took down OG. However, it was a completely different OG team who showed up this time. Mateusz “mantuu” Wilczewski played outstandingly throughout the match, and led OG to a confident 2-0 victory on Mirage (16-6) and Train (16-9).
OG has been dominant on Mirage lately and today against Gen.g they showed exactly why. They outplayed Gen.g in every aspect of game regarding individual duels, mid-round calls and clutches. Especially OG’s young AWPer mantuu shined, delivering an outstanding performance with 31-8 k/d, 118.0 ADR, 2.13 rating.
Gen.g tried with their map pick on Train to exploit OG and their week form on the map, but autimatic and co. didn’t manage to even up the score. mantuu continued his strong performance from Mirage and led OG to a convincing 16-9, ending the series 2-0.
OG will advance to the playoff, while Gen.g is being sent down to compete in the Last Chance Stage.
