NIP takes the victory against the Brazilians!
The Swedish organization ended up beating MIBR 2-1 in an exciting match in the Gamers Without Borders 2021!
A fantastic event for charity has provided us with an exciting set of games, with the first ended up with a NIP victory from Group A!
The first map was to be played on Mirage, which was MIBR´s map choice and they delivered a great result!
MIBR got a fantastic start as the T side, where they got themselves a 9-6 lead after the first half, and therefore gave themselves a great chance of winning the match.
In the second half, NIP fought bravely, but it wasn’t enough against the strong Brazilian side. MIBR ended up losing the second half 8-7, but this was enough for them to get the 16-14 win on Mirage!

But then NIP shifted gears in the second and third map and showed that they are level ahead of the Brazilian roster.
The second map was to be played on the new map Ancient.
In the first half NIP dominated to the fullest as the T side, they won the first half with a whooping 11-4, and the second half seemed to be a formality.
MIBR fought with all they could, in the second half but it wasn’t enough for the Brazilians, as they only managed to win four of the nine rounds in the second half, which was enough for NIP to win the map 16-8.
Therefore, a third and decisive map was needed, which was to be played on Overpass.
NIP delivered once again in the first half, this time winning the first half 10-5 as the CT side and the game seemed over, but MIBR gave it another try.
But they couldn’t come back in the second half as NIP ended up winning the second half 6-5 and that was enough to take the victory at 16-10 against MIBR
NIP wins the first gave of Group A 2-1 against the Brazilian MIBR.
