NIP director: Astralis and device contacted us
Heacham Shahin the administration director for Ninjas in Pyjamas has stated that device contacted them regarding the transfer.
In an interview with a Swedish media the director stated the following about the transfer.
- Everything got in place within two weeks. It was Astralis and device that contacted us. We didn’t expect it, but the deal was quick and clean
There has been a lot of talks about the transfer fee, and Heacham Shaheen commented that subject.
- We have agreed with Astralis, that we will keep the transfer fee for ourselves. But of course was the fee big, as we are talking about one of the best CS:GO players in the world.
Then the director was asked about the language barriers, even though Danish and Swedish aren’t far of each other.
- device has been living in Sweden for some time now with his girlfriend, so the language won’t be a problem. The team will continue to communicate in Swedish as usual.
Device´s transfer from Astralis to NiP came to the light of the public on April 23th, Dust2.dk has stated that the transfer fee was about $1 million.
