NBK helps countrymen in upset against mousesports
The two-time major winner was instrumental in DBL Poney's shock win.
It is tough times for mousesports fans out there. After a horrible showing at ESL Pro League, "mouz" was back on the server at the Fantasyexpo Spring Cup, where there is a ticket for the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown at stake.
In their opening match, mousesports was faced with the French roster from Double Poney. A 20 days old team without a regular fifth man. The benched OG player Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt was summoned to help his countrymen in the match. The two-time major winner did not disappoint.
The match was played as a best of one. Vertigo was picked as the map. Here everything seemed to go according to the plan, with a mouseports lead at halftime. But on their T-side, mousesports was completely shut down and lost 16-12! NBK was the second-highest fragger on the server with 25 kills, while mousesports' starplayer ropz was kept down on only 18 kills during the round.
DBL Poney advance to the Group Winners match, while mousesports needs a win in the elimination match later tonight to stay alive in the tournament.
