MOUZ NXT ranked higher than main team
MOUZ has dropped out of the top 30 on HLTV's World Ranking and is now trailing their academy team.
It is never ideal to have an academy team being ranked higher than your main roster. But that is now the case at MOUZ, where the successful academy team MOUZ NXT is currently ranked one spot above their main team.
The drop of MOUZ was expected after the team has not been participating in any tournaments in 2022 meanwhile MOUZ NXT is once again on the path to winning the WePlay Academy League after several good performances.
The departure of Robin "ropz" Kool and benching of Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand has given Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás the opportunity on the main roster, while the experienced Frenchman Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt has joined MOUZ to complete the lineup for the 2022 season. First event for the new roster is IEM Katowice, where they will need to qualify via the Play-in tournament alongside teams such as Astralis, NIP, FaZe, OG, and BIG.
MOUZ NXT will face Astralis Talent in the playoffs at WePlay Academy League on Friday.
