MIBR win Brazilian derby over TeamOne in ESL Pro League
It’s MIBR who come out on top tonight as they take the series 2-1 over TeamOne.
MIBR have secured their first victory in the prominent event after taking down their fellow countrymen from TeamOne. MIBR’s Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes played a massive role in the victory and finished off a stellar performance with 78 kills and 100 ADR over three maps.

Overpass: 16-13 | chelo – 1.58 Rating – 99.6 ADR – 28-17 K/D
The action started on Mirage where MIBR dominated TeamOne out of the server. MIBR powered through to a 10-5 lead before halftime and in the second half, they only lost one round before closing out the map 16-6.
On the second map of the series, both teams followed each other nearly throughout the whole game. Despite Train being a CT-sided map, both teams fought well and played well on the offense grabbing more than 5 rounds each. TeamOne took the map victory in the end after a hard-fought battle and closed out the map 14-16.
MIBR secured the series on Overpass where chelo led the charge. TeamOne were leading 11-13 being only three rounds away to wrap up the series, but MIBR picked themselves up in the end and strung five rounds together to close out the map 16-13.
