mezii announced as Magisk replacement on Vitality
The Fnatic rifler joins the defending Major champions ahead of the BLAST Fall Finals.
The Danish-French era is done and dusted at Team Vitality with the announcement of Emil "Magisk" Reif’s replacement. The Dane is expected to join Team Falcons alongside his two countrymen Danny "zonic" Sørensen and sports psychologist/performance manager Lars Christian Robl who made the same journey from Vitality earlier this year.
William "mezii" Merriman will take his place on the roster, which comes as no surprise given the fact, that mezii’s departure from Fnatic had already been made public. The 25-year-old Englishman had a two-year stint with Fnatic, where he has been one of the few lights in the sky for the struggling giants. Earlier in his career, mezii has played for GamerLegion, Cloud9, and Endpoint.
- Super excited to announce that I'll be joining Team Vitality. I'm so pumped to begin this new journey with these guys and spend countless hours grinding CS2 together, William "mezii" Merriman stated on his Twitter after the announcement video was released.
The first match for mezii on Vitality will be at the BLAST Fall Finals in Copenhagen starting 22nd of November.
