Media: Astralis to re-sign device
According to Jaxon.gg a deal has been made between Astralis and Ninjas in Pyjamas for the Danish AWP'er.
The saga of Nicolai "device" Reedtz and his Swedish adventures at Ninjas in Pyjamas could be coming to an end very soon. According to Jaxon.gg, a deal has been made between NIP and Astralis. For a reported fee of $700.000, the Danish AWP'er will return to Astralis, where he was part of the Organization's golden era in CS:GO with four Majors won during 2017-19.
The speculation about the future of device has been many since his last match for NIP in December 2021. The Dane was sidelined due to health issues at the start of 2022 but has not returned to play for the Swedish Ninjas despite grinding out a lot of FACEIT matches recently. In September alone, Nicolai "device" Reedtz played 98 matches on FACEIT.
A potential comeback for device can not happen at the Rio Major since he is not eligible to play at the event with him not being registered for the upcoming RMR.
