magixx on CIS success: We are not that lazy like some EU teams and especially American teams
The talented Team Spirit rifler spoke about the CIS dominance at IEM Rio.
With four teams from the CIS region in the playoffs at IEM Rio and a possibility of an all-CIS representation in the Semi-Finals, the domination from the region is real at IEM Rio.
Cloud9, NAVI, Outsiders, and Team Spirit have all made their marks on the ongoing Major as teams, while s1mple, sh1ro, Jame, Ax1Le, and nafany have been among the best individual performers at the event. We asked 19-year-old Boris "magixx" Vorobyev from Team Spirit about the current CIS domination.
- It has been a thing for a lot of years. Our region is playing more and is growing, and we are not that lazy like some European teams and especially American teams. Now it is paying off.
The Russian rifler is sure, that all the before-mentioned teams will qualify for the Semi-Finals on Saturday in Rio.
- I think it is going to happen today and tomorrow. I think we will see all four CIS teams in the Grand Final.
