The Danish rifler "Magisk" gives insights into his role as a "pit" player on Inferno
Whilst Inferno is perhaps most known for its section towards the B-bombsite called "banana" there are many different areas of the map that is just as crucial. One of these positions is, of course, the "pit" on the A-bombsite. Allowing you to duck and weave, taking battles that are almost always in your favor, it is one of the most crucial CT-sided positions in the game. If you ask Emil "Magisk" Reif the reason for the strength of the position, he explains it as follows:
"It's in general just really good because you can hide a lot of the time and you can be baiting for your teammates. That's why it's such a strong position."
"Magisk" often showcases exactly how powerful this position can be when playing CT-sided Inferno for Astralis. Alongside names such as Denis "electronic" Sharipov, he has proven himself to be one of the best "pit" players in the professional Counter-Strike scene.
