The renowned in-game leader gives his perception of Astralis' chances at the PGL Major in Stockholm.
Astralis head into the PGL Major in October as the defending champions, with the Counter-Strike titans having won the last three Major Championships back-to-back. The iconic Danes secured the titles in an unseen dynasty, which saw Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and his troops cement their names in the history books.
However, things have changed since the glory days in 2018-19, with the last year and this online era being a period where we have seen a way more inconsistent and weaker Astralis side. Something, which meant that the Danes was dethroned by promising and strong teams like Gambit, Heroic, and NAVI.
We have spoken with gla1ve to talk about his expectations for the upcoming Major, where gla1ve seems a bit sceptical, compared to previous years. The Astralis captain also reflects on the return of LAN events and the importance of playing in a filled arena.
