gla1ve after exit: We’re kind of getting used to the bad tournaments now
What now for Astralis?
It’s fair to say that the Danes from Astralis are miles away from their glory days back in 2018-2019. In fact, it’s more than 500 days since their last title at IEM Global Challenge dating back to December 2020. This year hasn’t been very satisfactory either for Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and company.
After being handed an early exit at IEM Dallas by G2 last night, gla1ve took his time to speak with James Banks to touch on their poor form lately.
It was a bad tournament once again. We’re kind off starting to get used to it. It feels really sad and it’s hard for us to figure out what we need to do differently. We’re not beating any top teams, only beating teams that are worse than us on paper. And yeah, it feels bad that we’re not climbing the ladder.
We know there’s a lot of pressure on us and that’s of course really hard. We try to believe in each other, believe in the team and believe in the things that we do. But of course, it’s really saddening when we don’t win games.
